ProWine China 2019 continues on course of success

■ Expanding exhibitor resources and more refined wine regions
■ Expansion of trade visitor acquisition from outside Shanghai
■ Growing interests to Chinese wines

ProWein Düsseldorf, which takes place every March, is the world’s No.1 trade fair for wines and spirits. As a member of the ProWein World, ProWine China in Shanghai is far ahead of other wine trade fairs in Mainland China when it comes to quality and quantity of international exhibitors. It is undoubtedly an ideal destination for Chinese importers, distributors, dealers and buyers to come and search for the perfect wines and spirits.

Expanding exhibitor resources and more refined wine regions

The exhibitor registration for ProWine China 2019 (12 – 14 November) is proceeding very successfully. A national pavilion jointly organized by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the German Wine Institute (DWI) will participate in ProWine China 2019, which is the largest German wine pavilion in the history of Mainland China. In addition, Austria's pavilion organizer Advantage Austria and Portugal's pavilion organizer Wines of Portugal have led many enterprises to present for many years and the booth space will be continuously expanded. It is worth mentioning that Consorzio Italia Del Vino will organize its wineries and enterprises to debut in ProWine China 2019. Serbia and Bulgaria will participate in this trade fair for the first time in the form of national pavilions.

ProWine China 2019 has also achieved remarkable results in refining the wine-producing regions. In addition to Chianti Classico and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, two of Italy's leading wine-producing regions, France's Inter Beaujolais and Spain's D.O. Montsant will make their debut in the form of regional pavilions.

Also, Les Grands Chais de France (GCF), Dalmacijavino, Duca Di Salaparuta, WSET, COFCO Great Wall, COFCO Wine & Wine and other well-known individual exhibitors will participate in ProWine China 2019.

ProWine China intensifies acquisition of trade visitors from outside Shanghai

As a professional wines and spirits trade fair aimed at covering Mainland China, ProWine China will increase its investment in the market this year. The continuously growing trade fair has a new focus on northern China, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, etc.

Due to the increasing number of exhibitors and the growing interest in wines and spirits, a significant increase in visitors especially from outside Shanghai is expected.

In addition, ProWine China 2019 will launch a new round of city promotion activities from this August. As one of the important initiatives for inviting visitors, ProWine China will continue to work with a series of city partners as well as associations, by reflecting the characteristics of the cities, to organize various master classes and reception dinners for dealers. At present, ProWine China 2019 has planned to carry out activities in more than 30 cities such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanning, Kunming, Shenyang, Beijing, Qingdao, Xi'an, Chengdu, Changchun, Shijiazhuang, Tianjin, Urumqi and Hohhot.

Growing interests to Chinese wines

Whether in Düsseldorf or Shanghai, Chinese wines on display at ProWine have attracted more and more attention from the industry. This year, many wineries from the most representative wine-producing regions in China will showcase the charm and diversity of Chinese wines at the booth of UP-Chinese Wine. ProWine provides a professional exhibition platform that helps to broaden the international vision of Chinese wine enterprises, and ProWine China can accelerate the popularization of Chinese wines with its influence in this country.

ProWine China 2019 will take place on 12 -14 November 2019 (Tuesday to Thursday) in Hall W4 and W5 of Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). Further information can be found on the official website at www.prowinechina.com.
